Doctor Gui saved my eyesight with a emergent surgery for a detached retina. He was on call in the ED at Hoag the night I went in with my left eye losing vision. He consulted with the ED doctor about my eye and arranged an appointment the next morning in his office. I had surgery that afternoon. He is a caring and professional doctor. He calmed me down and put me at ease from the first moment we talked. I am so glad he was on call that night. I just had my 90 day post op appointment and my eye is perfect. I would highly recommend Dr Gui !!

We would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Gui and his staffs. Our mom had an unsuccessful cataract eye surgery and was taken to Dr. Gui for his expertise on the same day. He carefully examined the eye and took time to explain that another surgery needed to done as soon as possible. Dr. Gui and his staffs were not only courteous and patient with our mom who was at that time tired and weak because of the surgery, but also gave our mom words of encouragement. The 2nd surgery performed by Dr. Gui was a success. Special thanks to Dr. Gui and his genuinely care ophthalmic technician, our mom is now able to see after almost a decade of being legally blind.
