I was so impressed with how well my boyfriend was treated by Dr. Wayne Gui and what a great job he did on the surgery of my boyfriend's one remaining eye, that I decided to have my eyes checked, as well. Dr. Gui was very patient, spoke very clearly and was very careful to answer any questions. I was really impressed with him.
I have not been to "any" eye doctor in 23 years to have my eyes checked. There has been no need.
Dr. Gui reported to me that I had no need for reading glasses, no beginning stages of: cataracts, macular degeneration or glaucoma and that my retinas were in good shape. All good to know. If I do have any future problems with my eyes, Dr. Gui will be the ONLY eye doctor I will call. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Gui of Orange Ivy Retina is excellent. His advanced skill, genuine care for his patients is truly wonderful. And, his prices are very reasonable.
My boyfriend, Jim, is totally blind in one eye. The lens capsule in his other eye had collapsed. Jim has hereditary “Stickler’s Syndrome,” which makes any eye surgery require specialized knowledge, procedure and care.
We went to 3 different eye specialists. The first eye doctor said he would have to rebuild the lens capsule structure; it was difficult, “very” expensive and we’d have to wait 6 weeks for a lens to come from Germany.
Finally, the 3rd doctor referred us to Dr. Gui. We were so happy and so excited because Dr. Gui was planning a procedure that was well tested, less difficult and had good outcomes. Dr. Gui did an excellent job on the surgery.
It’s been 8 months; and Jim’s follow up appointment had a very good report. We are so grateful to Dr. Gui and highly, highly recommend him.
